CODE RED

Fire - There is a fire emergency.

CODE ORANGE

Mass casualty - Hazardous material spill or release.

CODE GREEN

Evacuation - An evacuation situation where you have to help people get out.

CODE BROWN

Hazardous material - Hazardous spill such as chemicals.

CODE BLACK

Bomb threat - Or a security threat; make sure it is safe in the building.

CODE WHITE

Violent act - A situation where a person is behaving violently; alert staff.

CODE YELLOW

Missing patient/resident - Someone has gone missing; alert staff and secure building.

CODE BLUE

Cardio/respiratory arrest - Patient is coding and in cardiac arrest requiring immediate efforts from medical team.

CODE PURPLE

Hostage taking - Missing child or abduction.

CODE SILVER

Active assailant - An active shooter situation meaning someone on the property has a weapon.
