The heaviest type of copper plumbing tube, color-coded green and suitable for underground use.
Type L Copper Pipe
A blue-coded copper tube suitable for residential water supply and radiant heating, representing the minimum weight for water supply piping.
Roughing-in
The installation of all parts of the plumbing system which can be completed prior to the installation of fixtures.

A measure of the load-producing effects on the plumbing system where 1ft3/min is equivalent to 7.5gpm.
