Original Budget Calculation
The original budget for a project is calculated by multiplying the value of one floor by the total number of floors.
Project Cost of Completion
The estimated amount of money needed to complete the project based on the current expenditure and progress.
Time Remaining for Project Completion
The number of months left to finish the project, calculated based on current progress and scheduled completion time.
Work Rate Problem
A problem that involves calculating the time taken to complete a job based on the work rates of individuals or groups.
John's Work Rate
John can move masonry materials in eighty minutes.
Steve's Work Rate
Steve can move the same masonry materials in fifty minutes.
Combined Work Rate Calculation
The process of determining how long it will take two individuals working together to complete a task after one has already started.
Percentage of Completion
A measure of how much of a project has been completed, expressed as a percentage of the total work.
Expenditure
The total amount of money that has been spent on a project up to a given point.
Masonry Material Movement Problem
A specific example of a work rate problem where two workers help each other to finish moving materials.
Current Progress
The state of how much work has been completed at any given point in time in relation to the total project.
