Gestational Hypertension
A type of hypertension that develops after 20 weeks of pregnancy without proteinuria.
Preeclampsia
A pregnancy-specific syndrome marked by high blood pressure and signs of damage to organ systems, typically occurring after 20 weeks of gestation.
HELLP Syndrome
A severe form of preeclampsia characterized by Hemolysis, Elevated Liver enzymes, and Low Platelets.
Hyperemesis Gravidarum
A condition of excessive vomiting during pregnancy resulting in dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
Abruptio Placenta
Premature separation of the placenta from the uterine wall after 20 weeks of gestation.
Ectopic Pregnancy
A pregnancy where the fertilized ovum implants outside the uterus, most commonly in the fallopian tube.
Preterm Labor
Labor that occurs before 37 weeks of gestation, often characterized by contractions and cervical changes.
Tocolytics
Medications used to suppress premature labor by relaxing the uterus.
Chronic Hypertension

Diabetes Mellitus
