Arteries

Capillaries
Blood vessels that connect arteries and veins, delivering blood to every cell in the body.
Blood plasma
The liquid part of blood that contains water, nutrients, hormones, and waste materials.
Erythrocytes
Red blood cells responsible for transporting oxygen in the body.
Leucocytes
White blood cells that protect the body against foreign substances.
Thrombocytes
Platelets that are involved in blood clotting.
Phagocytosis
The process by which phagocytes engulf foreign materials.
Oxyhaemoglobin
The compound formed when oxygen binds to hemoglobin in red blood cells.
Thromboplastin
A protein released to initiate the blood clotting process.
