Noble Gases

Elements made up of single atoms that are happy to bounce around on their own, such as helium and neon.

Molecule

Small groups of atoms bonded together by chemical bonds.

Chemical Bond

An attractive force that binds atoms together in a molecule.

Lattice

A continuous framework where atoms bond together, commonly found in metals like copper and carbon (diamonds).
