Believe after Muhammad died, they believe his closest companion and father in law - ABU BAKR should be successor and given title caliph - HE DID BECOME IT BUT STILL ACCEPT ALI AS FOURTH SUCCESSOR

Believe they are set of beliefs they have to believe in, in order to go to jannah. Which influences Muslims to do good actions such as worship one god due to the belief in Tawhid
Muslims will follow them ad blieve in them so will make them less scared of death as they know Allah is fair will be judged on their actions and wether they have followed them.

believe he is omnipotent as he made the world in 6 periods of time
Influences Muslims to show stewardship and be khalifas of the world Ashe created a perfect world
Believe he has full control over the earth and controls all lives (pre-destination)
Influences Muslims to pray to him when they are in trouble as t shows he can help them as he is in full power of the world
Beneficent
Muslims believe Allah i so lowing as he sent angels t watch over them

Merciful
This is the belief Allah is forgiving
believe that allah forgives sins if confessed on hajj and will welcome to paradise
Influences Muslims to confess wrongdoings and ask for forgiveness on hajj as Allah will forgive those who repent and will go to heaven
Believe he is forgiving as he forgave Adam when he sinned against god in the garden
Influences Muslims to be forgiving to others as Allah is the perfect example how they should be

Imament
THEY BELIEVE HE IS ALWAYS CLOSE TO MUSLIMS
believe Allah is inside the world and is always close to them so knows everything they do
Influences Muslims to show stewardship as they know Allah is inside the world and is always watching them
Believe he provides a source of comfort as he will always listen to their prayers
Influences Muslims to feel supported in hard times as Allah is always close to them and ill comfort them (eg if loved one died)
“He is closer to you than your jugular vein” - if try to cut this then will die so referring living without being close to alah is worse than death
Adalat
believe Allah is fair and judges Muslims based on how they have behaved in life (if good will go to jannah/bad=jahannam
Influence Muslims to do good and try not to sin as they know he is fair n will judge whether can enter jannah fairly off actions
Believe he treats everyone the same and doesnt support injustice/prejudice
Influences Muslims to treat people fairly and prevent injustice whenever they see it as Allah doesnt support it

Transcendent
BELIEF HE S ABOVE BEYOND ,-
believe he is transcendent as he sends messages to humans through holy books
Influences Muslims to read holy books for guidance as Muslims and Allah cant directly communicate as he is transcendent to ask for guidance the books provide this
Believe he is transcendent as he sends angels to watch over humans
Influences them tot try not draw Allah because he is beyond all understanding and could lead to idol worship

Malaikah (Angels)
they are believed to be messengers of god who bring revelations to Muslims (holy books) as guidance - influences Muslims to read holy books as they were sent from angels to prophets FROM GOD
Believe they watch over humans and report back to Allah for the day o judgement - influences Muslims to ave trust in Allah as he sent angels to watch over them and take care of them / influences them to do good deeds as angels are watching over them to judge them for dy of judgement

JIBRILL: believed he revealed Quran (most important hoy book) to prophet Muhammad on the night of power and believed to bring spiritual nourishment
Mikail: believed to be the angel of mercy that rewards people if they do good in life (jannah) and brings physical nourishment to the earth through rain and thunder

muslims believe imams are 12 spiritual and physical leaders chosen by god to be leaders to lead faith and ummah after muhammad’s death and give legal advice as are free from sin and interpret Quran without fault
This influences Muslims to believe in imams and listen to their guidance and oratctice it as directly chosen by Allah to guide Islam/ummah after Muhammad’

Prophets - Adam
Muslims believe he brought sin into the world by disobeying god in the garden by eating the forbidden fruit so as a result all Muslims have to be judged whether they can enter jannah
Influences Muslims to do good actions and not sin as Adam brought sin into the world and taught life on earth was temporary and eternal life will follow if do good to enter jannah
Muslims believe he did wrong but repented an was forgiven by Allah
Influences Muslims to pray to Allah and confess ther sins and ask for forgiveness as Allah is merciful and forgave Adam.

Prophets. Ibrahim
Muslims believed he reinforced the belief that in monotheism as he rebuilt the ka’aba and smashed idols other people were worshipping (goes against tawhid)

Sunni Muslims believe that god has determined everything that will happen in life and all happens according to gods will
Influences Muslims to have trust in Allah as they know Allah has a plan for them, so however bad it appears Allah had made it happen for a reason.
Sunni Muslims believe Allah is the controller and creator of everything as he is omnipotent and omniscient

MUSLIMS BELIEVE:
soul is taken by azrail and 2 angels will ask questions on faith after death - who is your Lord? , who was your prophet? , what was your religion? - if answered correctly soul is to barzakh til day of judgment . IF NOT then it is punished (punishment of the grave) till day of judgment
israfill will blow trumpet marking day of judgement and earth will be destroyed
Israfill will blow trumpet again which everyone who has ever died will be resurrected
Everyone will be judged by Allah based of behaviour in life : receive BOOK OF DEEDS if in right will go to jannah, if in left will go to hell
Sent to heaven (place of paradise) or hell (eternal torment) but if ask for forgiveness god will accept as he is merciful
Akhirah/ Al maad/ Resurection / afterlife influence
influences Muslims to do good deeds and follow teachings of Quran and prophets as god is fair and will reward them with heaven and hell based on their actions in life as given them free will.
Influences Muslims to be less scared of death as they know there is an afterlife where all is resurrected to be with Allah and lost loved ones.
