First commandment
I am the Lord your God. You shall not have other strange gods before me.
Second commandment
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
Third commandment
Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.

You shall not kill.
Sixth commandment

Third Precept of the Church
Receive the Eucharist at least during the Easter season.
Fourth Precept of the Church
Observe days of fasting and abstinence.
Fifth Precept of the Church
Help provide for the needs of the church.

The man and woman themselves.
Form of Matrimony
The exchange of marriage vows before the church.
Minister of Matrimony
The bride and groom.
Valid marriage
A marriage that truly takes place according to church requirements.

A marriage celebrated according to church law/rules.
Bonds
One of the two ends of marriage, referring to the unity of the spouses.
Babies
One of the two ends of marriage, referring to procreation and raising of the children.
Free
A requirement for valid marriage meaning the individual was not forced to be married.
Total
A requirement for valid marriage meaning giving yourself fully.
Faithful
A requirement for valid marriage meaning lifelong exclusive love and not cheating on your spouse.
Fruitful
A requirement for valid marriage meaning being open to children and life.
Nuptial mass
A marriage mass, where a wedding is celebrated within the mass.
Mixed marriage
A marriage between a Catholic and a baptized non Catholic Christian.
