Must obey the law and be peaceful. People in Scotland are allowed to gather in large groups to protest, however they should notify the police in advance and follow all laws. For example, in recent years many people have protested on issues in Scotland such as Independence, Climate Change and Black Lives Matter

To not tell lies or perform hate crime

Candidates should use agreeable methods to promote their cause such as handing out leaflets, rather than spreading false rumours about an opponent's personal life. For example, Siobhan Brown went around Ayr & Prestwick asking people to vote for her in in 2021 and put leaflets through people’s doors, helping her to win
