Nodal Analysis
A technique in circuit analysis focusing on the voltages at the nodes of a circuit.
Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL)
A principle stating that the total current entering a junction must equal the total current leaving the junction.
Simultaneous Equations
A set of equations with multiple variables that are solved together, resulting in a common solution for the variables.
Reference Node
The node in a circuit assigned a voltage of zero, typically referred to as ground.
Voltage Source
An electrical component that provides a constant voltage in a circuit.
Ohm's Law
A fundamental principle stating that voltage equals current multiplied by resistance (V = I × R).
Cramer's Rule
A mathematical theorem used for solving systems of linear equations with as many equations as unknowns using determinants.
PSpice
A software tool used for simulating and analyzing electronic circuits.
Mesh Analysis
A technique in circuit analysis focusing on the voltages in the meshes (closed loops) of a circuit.
Conductance
The measure of how easily electricity flows through a component, the reciprocal of resistance.
