Nails
A straight, slender piece of metal having one end pointed and the other enlarged and flattened for hammering into wood or other building materials as fasteners.
Bullet Head
Nail that is punched below timber surface and then filled
Clout
Nail for fixing metal sheeting, strapping, brackets, conduits and pipe clips
Deck Spike
Nail for fixing large size timbers, galvanised coated for extra protection against carrion
Duplex
Nail for formwork applications and fastening temporary work (the second head is left expired for easy removal)
Fibrecement
Nail for fixing fibre cement sheeting such as Hardiflex and Villaboard for timber framing
Flathead
Nail for softwoods and thin timber, fencing planking and crating, flat head helps stop timber pulling over head
Underlay
Nail for fixing hardboard and Fibre cement underlay sheeting to timber floors
Masonry
Nail for securing materials such as wood to brick or concrete, made of thick, hardened sink with grooved or fluted shank
Pallet
Nails for softwoods, fencing, pallets and crating, twisted shank provides stronger holding power
Plasterboard
Nails that fixes plasterboard to timber framing, has an annular thread for greater holding power in timber
Roofing
Nail for iron roofing and fencing, twisted shank provides greater holding power in soft timbers
Softsheet
Nail for light ply, mdf, etc where the panel needs to be held firmly
Surveyor
Nail for marking points in bitumen and asphalt, large washer in galvanised finish
Blue Cut Tack
Nail used for fixing textile materials to wood, fixing upholstery to furniture
Timbergrip
Nails designed head allows for the head to be driven below timber surface, used for decking and Pergolas
Staple
Nails for fixing wire and netting to timber posts and frames, insulated version is attached to speaker & telephone wires to timber
Wall Panel
Nail for attaching paneling to walls, used in conjunction with an adhesive
Weathertex
Nails for timber framing, galvanised to resist staining
Bolts & Nuts & Washer

Hinges

Butt Hinge
