Bible

Gospels

Nativity
The occasion of a person’s birth; specifically Jesus of Nazareth.
Resurrection
The act of being raised from the dead.
Crucify
To put someone to death by nailing them to a cross, especially as an ancient punishment.
Catholic
A member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Pope
The head or leader of the Roman Catholic Church.
Protestant
A follower of Christianity who is NOT a member of the Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox Church.
Sacrament
A religious ceremony or ritual where a person receives the grace of God.
Baptism
The religious rite of sprinkling water onto a person's forehead or of immersion in water, symbolizing purification or regeneration and admission to the Christian Church.
Eucharist
The Christian ceremony commemorating the Last Supper, in which bread and wine are blessed and eaten.

A letter.
Parable
A simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson.
Schism
A split or division between strongly opposed sections or parties, caused by differences in opinion or belief.
Apostle
One of the twelve in the inner circle of Christ's followers according to the Gospel accounts.
Miracle
A surprising event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of the divine.
