What does a distance time graph show?
It shows how the distance travelled by an object changes over time.

What is the formula for speed in relation to distance and time?
Speed = distance / time.
What does a flat line on a distance time graph indicate?
The object is stationary.
What does an upward sloping line on a distance time graph represent?
The object is moving away from the starting point.
What does a downward sloping line on a distance time graph indicate?
The object is moving back towards the starting point.
What does a velocity time graph show?
It shows how the speed (and direction) of an object changes over time.

What does a flat line on a velocity time graph indicate?
The object is moving at a constant speed.
What does an upward sloping line on a velocity time graph represent?
The object is accelerating.
What does a downward sloping line on a velocity time graph indicate?
The object is decelerating.
What does a line at zero on a velocity time graph represent?
The object is stationary.
What does a force time graph show?
It shows how the force applied to an object and how long that force is applied for.

What does a flat line on a force time graph indicate?
A constant force is being applied to the object.
What does an upward sloping line on a force time graph represent?
The force is increasing over time.
What does a downward sloping line on a force time graph indicate?
The force is decreasing over time.
What does a line at zero on a force time graph represent?
No force is being applied.
What happens to the center of mass during downward movements?
Downward movements lower the center of mass.
