Sharp growth
A rapid and significant increase in value or amount.
Consistent growth
A steady and continuous increase over time without significant fluctuations.
Minor fall
A small or slight decrease in a figure.
Subsequent rise
An increase that occurs after a previous event or period.
Output doubled
A situation where the volume of production increased by two times.
Proportion
The share or percentage of a specific group in relation to the whole.
Consistent downward trend
A steady and continuous decline over the entire period under consideration.
Overtaken by
To be surpassed or exceeded in quantity or popularity by another category.
Peaked at
Reached the highest point or maximum level, such as reaching a point just over 60%.
The former
Refers to the first of two items or categories previously mentioned.
The latter
Refers to the second of two items or categories previously mentioned.
Uninterrupted growth
An increase that continues without any pauses or temporary declines from one point to another.
A tenth
A fraction representing 10% of the total number of subjects, such as tourists.
Four-in-ten
A ratio representing 40% of a specific group.
Two-in-ten
A ratio representing 20% of a specific group.
Fluctuated
Changed irregularly, rising and falling throughout the period.
Accounted for
To make up or represent a specific percentage or amount of a whole.
Remained relatively stable
Stayed at approximately the same level with very little change.
A mere 5%
An expression used to emphasize that a figure of 5% is very small.
Witnessed the reverse
A phrase used to describe a situation that is the exact opposite of what was previously mentioned.
