Charles Spearman

Achievement Test

Stanford-Binet Test

Intelligence Quotient
A measure of a person's intellectual abilities in relation to others, typically derived from standardized tests.
Wechsler Tests
An IQ test designed to measure intelligence in adults.
Stereotype threat
When a person feels at risk for confirming a negative stereotype.
Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences
The theory includes: Linguistic, Logical-Mathematical, Spatial, Bodily-Kinesthetic, Musical, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, Naturalistic Intelligence.

Individuals with exceptional abilities in a specific area while having limitations in others; often referred to as 'one trick ponies'.
Sternberg’s Triarchic Intelligence Theory
Comprises three parts: Analytical Intelligence (problem-solving skills), Creative Intelligence (ability to deal with novel situations), Practical Intelligence (ability to adapt to changing environments).
