What is the main difference between Assembly and Rigging?
Assembly: To initially put together component sections. (ie: Landing gear)
Rigging: The final adjustment of the part to ensure its airworthy.
What are the 3 main controls of an aircraft? Also, what do they control?
Ailerons: To bank or “Roll (tilt)” the plane at the longitude axis.
Rudder: To turn or “Yaw (left/right)” the plane at the vertical axis.
Elevator: To Climb and dive or “Pitch (Up/down)” the plane at a horizontal axis.
