Treaty signed by 20 European leaders and the Pope, promised universal peace by proposing that each state followed a non-aggressive by not attacking each other, if one power did go to war then other powers would give aid to the power being attacked.
What were the consequences of the Treaty of London?
Brought prestige to Henry, placed Henry and Wolsey at the centre of European politics and it only lasted for three years before France and the Habsburg empire declared war on each other in 1521.

A diplomatic meeting between Henry VIII and Francis I in 1520, a splendid showcase for the two Kings and an impressive display of English power and wealth, putting Henry at the centre of European diplomacy.
