Sound energy
A type of energy that is transferred by vibrations.
Potential energy (Falling Ball)
The form of energy that decreases immediately after a student pushes a ball off a table.
Kinetic energy (Falling Ball)
The form of energy that increases immediately after a student pushes a ball off a table.
Energy changes (Sledding)
The process where kinetic energy increases and potential energy decreases while a child is riding on a sled down a steep, snow-covered hill.
Nuclear Energy
Stored energy in the nucleus of an atom.
Chemical Energy
A form of energy that is stored in chemical bonds between atoms.
Electromagnetic Energy
The energy of light and other forms of radiation, which travels through space as waves; also the type of light energy received from the sun.
Thermal Energy
