The most common, they are granular and have a multi-lobed nucleus (3-5 lobes) and are first responders to bacterial infections
Lymphocytes
Agranular and generally smaller with a large, round, dense nucleus; crucial for viral infections and antibody production.
Monocytes
Largest cells, agranular and possessing a large, irregular, or kidney-shaped nucleus
Eosinophils
Characterized by bright red-orange granules and a two-lobed nucleus, responding to allergies and parasites
Basophils
Smallest percentage, filled with large, dark purple/blue granules that often obscure the nucleus
