A knee radiograph produced without a grid using 10 mAs. Then a repeat is taken with an 8:1 grid. What is the new mAs?
-8:1 is 4 on conversion chart
-10(4)= 40 mAs
A radiograph is taken with a 16:1 grid at 60 mAs. We repeat and take away the grid. What is the new mAs?
-GCF=6
X/60=1/6
X=60(1/6)
X= 10 mAs
