Estás loco - that person is crazy

Hasta aquí (de harto) - you’re fed up with “had it up to here” with someone

• Yo me lavo las manos - usually used with kids to remind them to wash their hands

  • can also mean that you don’t want to take responsibility for something

te vigilo - i’m watching you

Corta - usually used when in phone conversations and the person needs to cut the conversation short without saying it out loud

Te lo juro - to swear (so someone important)

A comer - universal motion across many cultures

• Se ha quedado así - it has stayed that way

  • usually not meant in a negative way, just an observation that they make about something/someone

Mucho - usually describing temperature or weather like “hace mucho calor” + this hand movement

• Te voy a dar - you’re gonna get it

• usually used when disciplining children
