Scientific Models
Useful tools that help scientists understand complex systems by allowing them to analyze and make predictions.
Physical Model
Smaller and simpler representations of the thing being studied, such as a globe or a map.
Conceptual Model
A model that ties many ideas together to explain a phenomenon or event; examples include a Food Web or the Solar System.
Mathematical Model
Sets of equations that consider many factors to represent a phenomenon.
