Circle
The set of points equidistant from the center, equals 360

Radius
A segment with endpoints at the center and on the circle (R= ½ D)

Chord
A segment with endpoints on the circle

Diameter
A segment that passes through the center (D= 2R)

Secant
A line that intersects a circle at exactly 2 places

Tangent
A line, segment, or a ray that intersects the circle at exactly one point

Point of tangency
The point where a circle and a tangent intersect

Central Angle
An angle with a vertex at the center of a circle and 2 sides are radii

Inscribed Angle
An angle with a vertex on the circle and two sides that are chords

Arc
The portion of the edge of the circle defined by two endpoints (outside)

Minor Arc
An arc with a measure LESS THAN 180 (It is named by two letters)

Major Arc
An arc whose measure is GREATER THAN 180 (named by three letters)

Semicircle (half of a circle)
An arc with endpoints on the diameter, equals 180

Exterior Angle
An angle that is formed by secants and tangents whose vertex is in the exterior of the circle

Interior Angle
An angle that is formed by chords and secants whose vertex is inside the circle.

Arc length formula
360xC C= 2πR or πD
Tangents form
Pythagorean theorem
