Hemorrhaging, Increased output, third spacing, fever from sepsis, dehydration, diuretics, burns
lose fluid → blood decreases→ tissue perfusion decreases
release renin → Angiotensin (vasoconstriction), Aldosterone (retain sodium and water), ADH ( water retention)
tachycardia, Dizziness, thirst, slight decrease in output
Orthostatic hypotension, cool skin, weak pulses, delayed refill
Altered Mental, shock, very decreased output, hypotension

Hemoconcentration (protein,BUN/creatinine, sodium, glucose)
Isotonic IVF, Blood, Evaluate (LOC, I & O’s, Urine, orthostatics, safety)
HP/BP good, urine putput more than 30, strong pulses, A&O x4
Decreased cardiac output and shock
