Early Bird Road

1. Get a special learner permit

2. Practice with an adult supervising driver for 6 months

5. Get the basic driver license at 18

Young Adult Road

1. Get an examination permit; at least 17

2. Practice supervised driving for at least 6 months

Restrictions

• No driving between 11:01 pm and 5:00 am

• No hand-held or hands-free cell phones or electronic devices

• Permit holders must be accompanied by a license adult 21 years and older

• Limited to 1 additional passenger

• Must wear seat belts
