Jefferson Davis
The only President of the Confederacy. Although he was a former Democratic congressman who served under Franklin Pierce, he was disappointed with the presidency as he preferred a military command.
Robert E. Lee
A Southern General who took command after Joseph Johnston was injured. He won the Seven Days Battles and famously led the failed "Pickett’s Charge" at Gettysburg.
Ulysses S. Grant
A Northern General and commander in the Western Theater. He achieved a costly victory at Shiloh and completed the Anaconda Plan by winning the Battle of Vicksburg.
National Union Party
