What does the prokaryotae kingdom include?
Unicellular prokaryotic organisms with no nucleus and are less than 5 micrometres in size. Some in this kingdom (the bacteria) have peptidoglycan cell walls
What does the protoctista kingdom include?
Unicellular or simple multicellular eukaryotic organisms that usually live in water
What does the fungi kingdom include?
Uni or multicellular eukaryotic organisms that have a chitin cell wall and are saprotrophic meaning they absorbe nutrients from dead or decaying matter
What does the plantae kingdom include?
Multicellular eukaryotic organisms with cellulose cell walls and contain chlorophyll so they can performs photosynthesis. They are also autotrophic meaning they product their own food
What does the animalia kingdom include?
Multicellular eukaryotic organisms with no cell walls and are heterotrophic meaning they consume plants and animals
