Piaget's Cognitive Development Theory
A theory outlining 4 stages of cognitive growth: Sensorimotor, Pre-operational, Concrete Operational, and Formal Operational.
Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD)
Vygotsky's concept indicating the gap between what a learner can do independently and with guidance, emphasizing the importance of appropriate challenge.
