Mechanical Physics
forces requires Physical contact between two objects and we call them contact force
Field Force
also known as Non-Contact Force
Types of Field Forces
Electric
Gravitational
Magnetic
Gravitational
Affected by mass
Electric
Affected by charges
Magnetic
Affected by magnets
Electric Field is a Vector Quantity
electric field is affected by the charges and different charges involve different direction
Micheal Faraday
English scientist probably best known for his discovery of electromagnetic induction
Test Charge
vanishingly small positive charge () used in physics to measure the electric field () or force produced by another charge
Source Charge
also known as Point Charge
The field electric charge of positively charged particle is always away the charge.

The field electric of a negatively charge particle is always towards the charge.

The further the electric field lines from the charge is the weaker/ shorter the electric field gets.

The electric field of a single positively charged particle extend to infinity.

For two unlike charges, the electric field lines starts from positive charge and ends to negative charge.

If there are no negative charged objects around, the line just keep on going.
