How do you use ‘est-ce que’ to form a question?

Place at the start and then say a statement

> Est-ce que Marie travaille bien?

Est-ce que= does…

Translate- Does she speak French?

Est-ce qu’elle parle français?

How do you use inversion to form a question?

Say a statement but swap the auxiliary and the verb around

> Regardes-tu le film?

Translate- Are you going to Paris? (use inversion)

Allez-vous à Paris

Where does the reflexive go in inversions?

at the start

> Nous lèverons-nous de bonne huere?

Translate- Do they (f) go to bed at 10 o’clock? (use inversion)

Se couchent- elles à dix heures?

What happens when using inversion if the are 2 vowels next to each other? e.g. parle-il

add a t in between the vowels
