MTSS
A multi-tiered framework used to decide if a student should continue intervention, intensify intervention to more than 3× per week, or be referred for a formal evaluation.
PLAAFP
A component of the IEP that functions as the starting point for goals and services by detailing a student's strengths, needs, and the impact of their disability on functional performance.
IDEA Three Prongs of Eligibility
The specific legal requirements for special education, which state a child must have a documented disability, experience an adverse impact on educational performance, and require specially designed instruction.
CELF-5 ORS
The Observational Rating Scale used to examine functional language skills across environments by identifying overlapping concerns from both parents and teachers.
Specially Designed Instruction
