SI Unit
The international system of units established for measuring physical quantities.
Significant Figures
Digits that carry meaning contributing to the precision of a number, excluding leading zeros.
Conversion Factor
A ratio used to convert between two different units of measurement.
Rounding Rules
Guidelines for adjusting numbers to reflect significant figures during calculations.
Mass
A measure of the amount of matter in an object, commonly measured in kilograms.
Force
An interaction that causes an object to accelerate, measured in newtons.
