When asked by Jehovah what he most wanted, he responded "an understanding

heart"

The story of the two women who both claimed to be the mother of the same baby

remains as the model of the "Solomon-like" decisions. He decreed that the baby be

cut in half to give each woman her "just" due. The false mother agreed, but the true

mother was willing to give up her claim so the baby would live. He returned the baby

to the true mother
