The system of Jewish dietary laws and commandments.
Mitzvah
A single commandment or Jewish law (plural: Mitzvot).
Trefah
Foods that are forbidden and do not meet the requirements of Jewish law.
Kosher
Foods that are permitted to be eaten according to Jewish law.
Mitzvot
The collective set of Jewish laws, numbering 613 in total, compared to the primary 10.

An authoritative collection of Jewish oral laws and traditions.

Nablus
