• Also believed the boys temperament is influenced by the day of the week they were born on: Monday= placid, Wednesday= violent/aggressive

What did Jahoda find?

Examined the names of criminals who have committed violent offences recorded in court over the last 5 years

• Found 22% violent crimes by those with Wednesday names, only 6.9% by Monday

What reasoning could be given for these findings?

Possible that they ere treated differently by society and grew up with the belief of what was expected from them and simply acted accordingly.
