1st Amendment
Freedom of Speech, Religion, Press, Assembly, & Petition
2nd Amendment
Right to keep & bear arms
3rd Amendment
Government cannot force citizens to house soldiers without consent; based on the Quartering Act
4th Amendment
Protects individuals from unreasonable search; LEOs need warrants & probable cause
5th Amendment
Protection against self-incrimination, due process, double jeopardy, and the requirement that you must pay for trial
6th Amendment
Fair, speedy trial, and guaranteed representation
7th Amendment
Jury trial in Civil cases
8th Amendment
No cruel & unusual punishment, reasonable bail
9th Amendment
People have rights outside the constitution
10th Amendment
Powers not delegated to the Fed. Gov are in the hands of the states
