area along sides of anterior midline of body (vert. line from lateral b. of eye orbit and forehead, eyes, nose, mouth, front teeth, tongue, throat, trachea, esophogus, HT in the neck & chest, upper abd, umb, low abd, uterus, UB, perenium in abd.

Region 1

-frontal headache, eye disorders, nasal obstruction, trigeminal neuralgia, frontal toothache, pharyngitis, tracheitis, stomachache, dysmenoorrhea, excessive leukorrhea, noctural enuresis, thick tongue coat

between the ulna & m flexor carpi ulnaris tendon in depression between border of ulna and radial side of tendon

-frontal headache, trigeminal neuralgia, facial paralysis, frontal toothache, motor aphasia from wind stroke, angina pectoris, costal neuralgia

- spasm of eyelid muscle, stye, conjunctivitis, distention/pain eyeball, impaired vision, lacrimation,

-nasal obstruction, rhinitis

- thick tongue coat, sore throat, tonsilitis, freq. cough, nausea, vomit, anorexia, hypertension, numbness of skin on one/both sides, puritis, urticaria, aversion to cold, night sweats, psychosis, postepilepsy

Upper 1

located close to the inner border of tendo calcaneus

-upper abd pain, pain around UMB

-nocturnal enuresis

-dysmenorrhea

-excessive leukorrhea

-pain in medial s. of gastrocnemious

-muscular spasm of leg

-pain in heel

Lower 1

the two sides of the front of the body: anterio-temporal area, cheek, back teeth, submaxillary area, thyroid gland, supracl. fossa, breast, lungs, costal & hypochond. region, lateral abdominal region

-anterio-temporal headache, aching of back teeth, distention & pain of breast, chest pain, asthma, pain in hepatic region & lateral abdomen

Region 2

located in the center on the palmar side of the forearm between palmaris longus tendon & m. flexor carpi

-anterio-temporal headache, back toothache, pain of submandibular nodes, chest pain, stuffy chest, distention & pain in breast, asthma, acroparethesia

Upper 2

located in center of medial side of the leg, close to the internal border of the tibia. Slide the thumb forward from the tendo calcaneus until it reaches the border of the tibia, where the point is located.

-pain in hepatic region, lateral abdominal pain, pain of the lymph nodes in the groin, pain at medial aspect of knee joint, and medial aspect of ankle

Lower 2

the lateral borders of the front part of the body. It covers a verticle narrow area along the anterior border of auricle & axilla

-pain of superficial temporal area

-chest pain along the anterior border of the axilla

Region 3

located one cm internal to the border of the radius OR between the border of the Radius and Radial Artery

-pain of superficial temporal artery

-pain in the lateral chest wall

Upper 3

located one cm medial to the anterior crest of the tibia

-pain at the medial aspect of the knee

-pain at medial dorsum of foot

Lower 3

the borders of the front & back parts of the body. It covers areas from vertex (du20), earlobe, traps, vertical area between axilla & ASIS

-parietal headache

-ear ache, tinnitus

-temporo-mandibular arthralgia

-chest pain along mid-axillary line

Region 4

located on the border of the radius on the side of the thumb

-parietal headache, tinnitis, impaired hearing, temporal-mandibular arthralgia

-ppain of the anterior aspect of the shoulder

-lateral chest pain

-elbow pain

-arthralgia of the thumb

Upper 4 (think thumbs up)

located midway between the anterior crest of the tibia & anterior border of the fibula

-meralgia paresthetica (compression of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, resulting in tingling, numbness, and burning pain on the outer thigh)

-arthralgia of the knee

-sensory disturbance of lower limb

-motor disturbance of lower limbs (paralysis/tremor)

-pain in dorsum of foot

Lower 4

the two sides of the back part of the body, just opposite to region 2. covers: posterio-temporal area, lateral side of back & neck, area along midscapular line passing down to lumbar

-Posterio-temporal headache

-Pain in the scapula

-disorders of the transverse process of lumbar vertebrae

Region 5

located on the center of the dorsal side of the forearm between the radius & ulna

-dizziness, vertigo, headache, common cold

-pain in posterior of neck, shoulder pain, arthralgia of shoulder

-sensory disturbance of upper limbs, motor disturbance of upper limbs (paralysis/tremor)

-arthralgia of wrist and fingers

Upper 5

located in the center of the lateral side of leg, close to the posterior border of the fibula in a shallow sulcus between the border of the fibula & tendons of m. peroneous longus

-syndrome of the transv. process of the 3rd lumbar vertebrae

-meralgia of lateral aspect of leg

-arthralgia of ankle

Lower 5

The area along the sides of the posterior midline of the body-just opposite region 1: covers the occipital area of the head, area along vertebral column & anus

-occipital headache

-pain of posterior of neck

-low back pain

-prolapse of rectum

-hemorrhoids

Region 6

located on the dorsal forearm 1 cm internal to border of ulna on the side of the lil finger

-pain in the cerviccal & thoracic vertebrae

-pain in posterior of shoulder

-frostbite

Upper 6

located close to the external border of the tendocalcaneous

-Lumbar pain

-sciatica

-pain in anterior sole
