separate traffic lanes on roads with two or more lanes in the same direction

Carpool/High-Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Lanes
special line reserved for HOV, motorcycles, and eco-friendly cars. Cannot cross over double solid lines to enter or exit this lane
Center Left Turn lane
located in the middle of a two-way street, inner line is broken and the outer line is solid. do not drive in this lane for too long
