A condition involving vasospasms of the small arteries, typically in the fingers or toes, listed as a common perfusion problem.
Primary Hypertension
High blood pressure that has no identifiable underlying cause.

Venous Thrombosis
The formation of a blood clot within a vein, categorized under peripheral vascular diseases.
Chronic venous insufficiency
A condition where venous walls and/or valves in the leg veins are not working effectively, making it difficult for blood to return to the heart from the legs.
Angina Pectoris
Chest pain resulting from reduced blood flow to the heart, listed under Coronary Artery Disease.
Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)

Myocardial Infarction
Commonly known as a heart attack; occurs when blood flow stops to a part of the heart, causing damage to the heart muscle.
Heart Failure
A chronic condition in which the heart is unable to pump blood with enough force to meet the body's needs.
Perfusion
The process of a body delivering blood to a capillary bed in its biological tissue.
Dyspnea
Difficult or labored breathing, identified as a common care problem for patients with perfusion issues.
Fluid Overload (Edema)
A condition where there is too much fluid in the body's tissues, a common care problem in perfusion disorders.
Varicose Veins
Swollen, twisted, and sometimes painful veins that have filled with an abnormal collection of blood.
Perioperative
The period of time spanning the entire surgical experience, including before, during, and after surgery.
Postoperative
The period of time immediately following a surgical procedure.
