Foreclosed
Have not experienced a crisis or a process of exploration, but demonstrate strong occupational and ideological commitments. Their beliefs appear to be close to their parents
Crisis
Sometimes referred to as exploration, refers to a period of trying out various roles, reviewing/sorting through ones options and active decision making
Commitment
Consists of a demostration of personal involvement and investment in areas of occupational choice, religion, political ideology, and interpersonal relationships
