Gender

Six
refers to human biological characteristics of being female, male or other
Intersex
people born with physical or biological six characteristics, including anatomy, reproductive organs, hormonal patterns, and or chromosomal patterns that do not fit the typical definitions of female
Gender identity
refers to a person’s deeply felt internal and individual experience of gender, which may or may not correspond with the sex assigned at birth, including the personal sense of the body and other expressions of gender, such as dress, speech and mannerisms
Sexual orientation
a person’s physical, romantic and/or emotional attraction towards other people
sex and gender-based discrimination
any distinction, exclusion or restriction made on the basis of people’s sex or gender in a way that prevents them from enjoying their fundamental rights and freedom, even unintentionally

refers to the equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities for people of all sexes and gender identities.

used to refer to fair treatment of women and men, according to their respective needs.

process of assessing the implications for women, men and others of any planned action, including legislation, policies or programmes
