Noun
A noun is the name of a person, place, thing, or idea.
Proper Nouns
Proper nouns always start with a capital letter; common nouns do not.
Definite Article
The definite article (the) is used before a noun to indicate that the identity of the noun is known to the reader.
Indefinite Articles
Indefinite articles (a, an) are used before a noun that is general or when its identity is not known.
Possessive Nouns
Possessive nouns demonstrate ownership, often formed by adding 's.
Possessive Adjectives
Words that modify a noun to show a form of possession, such as my, your, his, her.
Verb 'to be'
The most important verb in the English language, with irregular forms such as am, is, are.
Contractions
A contraction is when two words are joined and one or more letters are removed and replaced with an apostrophe.
Adjectives
Adjectives describe or give information about a noun.
Listening Comprehension
Activities designed to check understanding and retention of information heard.
Daily Activities
Tasks individuals commonly perform on a daily basis, such as cooking, cleaning, or exercising.
Grammar Practice
Exercises to reinforce understanding of grammatical structures.
Vocabulary
A set of words used in a particular language or subject.
Activities
Actions or tasks that are performed for a particular purpose, including daily routines.
Culture
The social behavior and norms found in human societies.
Family Members
Words used to identify individuals in one's family, such as mother, father, brother.
Means of Transportation
Methods of moving people or goods from one place to another.
Relationships
Connections or associations between people, commonly identified with terms like friend, parent, or partner.
Time Expressions
Words or phrases that indicate when an event happens.
