Stress
What you experience when you feel overwhelmed by things happening in your life and when your body responds negatively to any kind of demand or pressure.
Physical Effect of Stress
A bodily response to pressure, examples include headache, migraine, loss of appetite, excessive eating, lack of sleep, and high blood pressure.
Emotional Effect of Stress
A mental or mood-related response to feeling overwhelmed, including increased worry, moodiness, increased anger, frustration, increased irritation, and poor decision making.
Headache
A physical effect of stress characterized by pain in the head.
Migraine
A specific physical effect of stress involving intense or severe headaches.
Loss of appetite
A physical effect of stress where a person experiences a decreased desire to eat.
Excessive eating
A physical effect of stress where a person consumes food in large quantities.
Lack of sleep
A physical effect of stress that results in insufficient rest.
High blood pressure
A physical health impact caused by the body responding negatively to demands or pressure.
Increased worry
An emotional effect of stress characterized by persistent concern or anxiety.
Moodiness
An emotional effect of stress where an individual's mood changes frequently or negatively.
Increased anger
An emotional response to stress involving heightened feelings of hostility or temper.
Frustration
An emotional effect of stress arising from feeling blocked or overwhelmed by life events.
Increased Irritation
An emotional effect of stress where a person becomes easily annoyed or impatient.
Poor decision making
An emotional or cognitive effect of stress that reduces the ability to make sound choices.
