What is considered a “Dangerous Drug”?

Any prescription medication (even non controls) or C5 that can be purchased OTC (like codeine)

  • Also any drug that has to be injected into the body

State Licenses Needed to Possess Dangerous Drug

  1. Terminal Distributer of Dangerous Drugs (TDDD): Required to purchase and store dangerous drug for sale/use on a patient

  2. Wholesale Distributer of Dangerous Drugs (WDDD): Required to purchase and store dangerous drug intended to be RE-Sold, i.e. not for direct consumer/patient use (i.e. wholesalers sell to pharmacies, not directly to patients)

  • All licenses need a RP/PIC
