Go to View, then click Guides, and click New guide and input any information the prompt requests for it to be.

Have the ruler out and drag click from the ruler to make the guide.

Use the Rectangle Tool and click once on the canvas. Then, you can put in the measurements and make sure “from center” is selected.
How do you hide Layers so you can only see the layer background?
Click the eyeball beside any unwanted layers until it’s just the layer background.
How do you change the blending mode to overlay?
To the left of the opacity in the Layers window, click the drop down box and select overlay.
How do you make the layers go into the same folder while maintaining the layer order?
Select all the layers you want to go into the folder, click the three horizontal lines button in the Layers window, and then click New Group from Layers.
How do you change the color of an object?
Go to Properties, Appearance, Fill, and then Click the rainbow square before putting in the hex code color they want.
How do you recreate the missing part of an image?
Use any type of select tool, select the area, click Edit, then click Content Aware Fill, select what you would like the fill to be like, and then click OK to save the changes.
How do you remove something from an image while making it look natural?
Use an select tool, select the object you wish to remove, click Edit, click Content-Aware Fill, select portions of the image that would match, click OK to create the changes.
How do you make a new document for publishing/print in a tabloid (11 by 17) in landscape?
Click File, New, Print, select Tabloid, change the format to Landscape, make it CMYK, change the resolution to 300, pick the background to whatever color they request, then click Create
