How would you summarize the book?

Forge follows the story of a young black man, Curzon, on his journey to make a living during the American Revolutionary War.

Did you enjoy this book, how would you rate it? Would I recommend it?

I personally did not enjoy this book very much, although it is very well written. I personally would give this book a 3/5, and I think it is a good book for those who liked the first in the series, Chains, and that generally like historic fiction.

What is the inciting incident?

I would say that the inciting incident is when Curzon meets Eben. This is because he saves him and ends out helping in battle, then leading to Curzon joining the military

What is the climatic moment in the book?

I would say the climax is when Curzon and Isabel escape during the chaos of the Lafayette troops moving out

What is the denouement of the book?

I would say the denouement is mixed in with the climax, as they made their escape and look back, while moving on together.
