Pericardium
Membrane surrounding the heart

superior vena cava
transports blood from the upper portion of the body to the heart

inferior vena cava
carries blood from lower regions of the body to right atrium

right and left atria
receiving chambers of the heart


right and left ventricles
pump blood away from the heart

carry deoxygenated blood out of the right ventricle and into the lungs

supply oxygen-rich blood to the myocardium
pulmonary veins
Deliver oxygen rich blood from the lungs to the left atrium

the descending part of the aorta
brachiocephalic artery
supplies blood to the right arm and the head and neck
Right subclavian artery
supplies blood to the right shoulder and arm
Right common carotid artery
supplies right side of head and neck
