Vaincre (Unexpected Consonant Change)
The "c" changes to "qu" in plural forms (nous vainquons, ils vainquent, imparfait, subjunctive).

Contredire (The Vous Trap)
Unexpectedly regular in the Vous form: "vous contredisez" (NOT contredites, unlike the verb 'dire').

Adds a "g" before the "n" in plural forms (nous oignons, ils oignent, imparfait, subjunctive).

Past participle is "mû" (with a circumflex). Note: The accent drops in feminine/plural forms (mue, mus).

Watch out for double or triple 'e's in compound tenses: j'ai créé, elle est créée.
Oblitérer (Stem Accent Change)
The acute accent "é" changes to a grave accent "è" in the boot forms: j'oblitère, ils oblitèrent.
Moudre (Present Tense Stem Change)
The "d" drops in plural forms and becomes a "l": je mouds, nous moulons, ils moulent. Past participle: moulu.
Plaire (Past Participle & 3rd Person Singular)
Past participle is "plu". In traditional spelling, the 3rd person singular present takes an accent: il plaît.
Trahir (Verb Type & Present Tense)
It is a regular -IR verb (Finir type): je trahis, nous trahissons, ils trahissent. Past participle: trahi.
Cuire (Present Tense Stem Change)
The "i" stem expands to "is" in plural forms: je cuis, nous cuisons, ils cuisent. Past participle: cuit.
Zézayer (Spelling Variation Trap)
Verbs ending in -ayer can keep the "y" or switch to "i" in boot forms: je zézaye OR je zézaie.
