Stage 1 Sensormotor Birth-2 years
Uses senses and motor abilities to interact with the objects in environment. Object permanance.
Stage 2 Preoperational 2-7 years
Egocentric, representational thought, easily fooled by change in appearance.
Stage 3 Concrete-Operational 7-12 years
Ability for conservation tasks, logic based on conreate concepts, limited on abstract concepts(aka ones that don’t have a physical,concrete, touchable reality.)
Stage 4 Formal-Operational Adolescense to adulthood
Abstract and hypothetical though, cause and effect reasoning.
