Motion
The change in position of an object relative to a reference point.
Reference Frame
A fixed physical object or point used to describe motion or position.
Kinematics
The study of motion without considering its causes.
Dynamics
The study of the relationship between motion and force.
Distance
The actual length of the path taken by an object from its initial position to its final position.
Displacement
The straight-line change in position from the initial position to the final position, including direction.
Velocity
The rate of change of position, which includes both speed and direction.
Acceleration
The rate of change of velocity over time.
Instantaneous Speed
The speed of an object at a specific moment in time, as shown by a vehicle’s speedometer.
Average Speed
The total distance traveled divided by the total time taken.
